I get distracted very easily, so I thought publicly writing about my current plans and projects would give me some form of accountability and force me not to start anything new. I have been working on a lot of these for a while and keep switching to other stuff.
Current projects include:
- 3d printing masters to make moulds from.
- Actually making the moulds from masters I have already made.
- Making enough dice to actually have a few sets available online.
Problems I am encountering include:
- My own indecisiveness. I can't settle on fonts, shapes or anything else. I am working on a few different ranges, but even deciding on what to do first is difficult.
- Motivation. I keep putting things off. I don't know whether that's because I keep getting side tracked, can't decide what to do and when or if I'm subconsciously scared of messing things up.
- Polishing my masters. It's a very boring and time consuming process.
- Disorganisation. I need some sort of timetable and need to actually organise all of my stuff. I keep losing things and it's really annoying.
- Keep forgetting to stick to one size of dice so that the blanks I'm making moulds for will effectively fit them all.
- I only own one pressure pot (for now) so production of dice is slower than I would like.
Ranges of dice I'm working on include:
- Cretaceous Crafts branded dice.
- The Unhinged Collection.
- Some random ones I need to think of a name for (most progress on this so far, despite the lack of name).
Additionally, I intend to make sets of only D6 for games that require them and potentially counters for certain card games.
I have a lot of plans, but no idea when they will actually come to fruition.
I will update as I make more progress.
